GWRGreat Western Railway 813 at Highley

The GWRGreat Western Railway 813 Preservation Fund is an unincorporated membership organisation founded in 1966. There is currently no annual subscription and membership is granted to those making a minimum donation amount.

It owns the GWR 813 Saddle Tank locomotive and many of the GWRGreat Western Railway goods wagons on the SVRSevern Valley Railway, as well as a number of other items on the SVRSevern Valley Railway and on other preserved lines, with their collection numbering almost 100. See Rolling stock owned by The GWR 813 Preservation Fund for a full list of the Fund's rolling stock based at the SVRSevern Valley Railway.

The Fund runs a sales stand at Kidderminster Station.

On 23 November 2019 the Rouse family donated to the Fund a large portion of David Rouse's photographic archive. It will take some time for the Fund to go through the collection.[1]

In due course the Fund intends it will become a charitable trust or other similar organisation.
