Just been trying out a few tweaks to this. I'm not sure whether it would be best to have a much more detailed infobox, like the ones on Wikipedia, or leave it as it is with just the basics and any extra detail in the text or via the Wikipedia link.--Graham Phillips 110 (talk) 08:09, 27 June 2016 (UTC)

I quite like the level of information as it is. I think a detailed set of dimensions and statistics for each class is probably better left to other sites - Wikipedia and other sites already have all that minutae covered, and I suspect anyone that is really interested in the grate area of a GWRGreat Western Railway 28xx won't be looking here...
I've tweaked the colours in the title to be a bit more GWRGreat Western Railway/SVRSevern Valley Railway-esque, rather than the rather garish FR red it was before! --Danny252 (talk) 08:27, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
Thanks both. I'd also say keep the level reasonably short. I like the new 'GWRGreat Western Railway' colours in line with the SVRSevern Valley Railway logo, although it may look a bit strange on LMSLondon Midland & Scottish Railway and SRSouthern Railway locos. Maybe use a more appropriate infobox colour for those? --Robin (talk) 14:52, 28 June 2016 (UTC)

In case anyone was wondering, all my little edits to the template and pages have been trying to hunt down the source of a spurious newline that was being inserted after the template, that was offsetting the first line in articles when included at the start, which was very annoying once I noticed it! It turns out the answer that everything you don't want copied into the article must be within "noinclude" tags, with the opening tag placed on the last line (not after) of the table. Very fiddly... --Danny252 (talk) 11:02, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
