:SVR News didn't mention the locomotive used, although it did record that the train involved was an 'inspection special' for Bank officials.  The exact date was Wednesday 12 January, presumably not a normal working day.--[[User:Robin|Robin]] ([[User talk:Robin|talk]]) 11:38, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

I believe the fireman of the loco involved with the unfortunate fatal accident was also the fireman of 43106 when it derailed on a down train at the south end of Hampton Loade. [[User:Boldford|Boldford]] ([[User talk:Boldford|talk]]) 17:48, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
