: Richard Gunning has stated this is the first time 9 teaks have been coupled together in a set since a tour with Flying Scotsman in 1963/64, although those were painted in BR maroon. The last time a set was run still with coaches in varnished teak livery is unknown, but he suggested it was probably the early 1950s. --[[User:Danny252|Danny252]] ([[User talk:Danny252|talk]]) 19:51, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

In the Elan Valley work, I put down D2957 and Gane 'A' 60841 as the stock used as they are the obvious answer, but I lack any confirmation - the photos I can find aren't good enough to show the numbers. Feel free to correct/confirm/add a photo! --Danny252 (talk) 08:56, 23 September 2015 (UTC)

Regarding the 9 teaks at PacificLocomotive with a 4-6-2 wheel configuration Power, I recall this was mentioned as a "first in preservation" in some form - is it the first 9-coach teak set, or something to do with combining it and FS/Tornado? --Danny252 (talk) 17:10, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

Richard Gunning has stated this is the first time 9 teaks have been coupled together in a set since a tour with Flying Scotsman in 1963/64, although those were painted in BRBritish Rail or British Railways maroon. The last time a set was run still with coaches in varnished teak livery is unknown, but he suggested it was probably the early 1950s. --Danny252 (talk) 19:51, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
