Once the Guarantee Company was formed, it ran in tandem with the SVRS until late 1969. Things like the SVRS promoting railtours and being the organisation referred to in SVR News suggest that the SVRS was the 'public face' while the Guarantee Company organised the purchase of the line and the granting of the LRO. I have expanded the wording which hopefully clarifies this.--Robin (talk) 15:35, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
