Arrival date

The 2857 Society web site states the locomotive arrived on 20 August 1975. The SVRSevern Valley Railway Stock Book from 1989 quotes 13 August 1975 for both 2857 and 7325 which arrived in convoy. SVRSevern Valley Railway News 37 from Autumn 1975 also quotes 13 August on a number of pages, so I have gone with the earlier date. --Robin (talk) 15:29, 23 May 2017 (UTC)

100 Headcode

I notice the loco carried both a 100,000 miles headboard and 100 headcode just before the recent ASG. I don't know if "100" referred to the 100,000 miles or the loco being 100 years old, or both.--Robin (talk) 14:36, 30 September 2018 (UTC)

It was both, reaching 100000 miles in preservation during its 100th year. I was told on Saturday 15th that it was expected to reach the milestone on Tuesday 18th, although I think the headboard and reporting number were actually fitted on the morning of Wednesday 19th. I haven't seen any photos taken on Tuesday to confirm this. --Graham Phillips 110 (talk) 19:11, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
