Talk:Foot crossing north of Bank Farm

Ornance survey https://osmaps.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/52.42307,-2.36195,18 doesn't seem to show a foortpath or other right of way - odd?--Patrick Hearn (talk) 09:45, 25 May 2019 (UTC)--Patrick Hearn (talk) 09:45, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

Odd indeed - the Worcestershire County Council Public Rights of Way map (which is based on the OS map!) shows it as a right of way (can't link to a detailed view so you will need to zoom in). --Robin (talk) 16:58, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
That large scale OS map only shows what actually exists on the ground, not Public Rights of Way. Although the footpath is a PRoW, it doesn't get enough use to be visible across the field. A similar example can be seen slightly downstream on the opposite bank. The PRoW cuts the corner at the bend in the river, as shewn on the OS map, yet historical use has worn the path to follow the river bank, as shewn on Google Earth--Graham Phillips 110 (talk) 20:37, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
Thanks both--Patrick Hearn (talk) 20:43, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
