Robin has added 20189. It has run scheduled passenger services this week double headed with air-only braked and LT liveried 20142, also owned by 20189 Ltd. Should we add that as well? A deduction from the latest diesel roster updated 19th July is that as 20142 and 20189 don't appear after tomorrow, so it's been a very short hire--Patrick Hearn (talk) 21:13, 22 July 2022 (UTC)

I was probably a bit premature in adding 20189 (which the roster suggested worked single for Thursday and Friday but I don't know if that was what actually happened?). I see 20189 is rostered solo tomorrow, with 20142 joining 70 on the Baton Train. If they're only working this week and then leaving I'd be inclined not to bother with specific pages for them. Maybe re-write the page as 'short term hires' and include both, or probably better to delete the page altogether and just mention them in the July 2022 history page. --Robin (talk) 22:24, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
All noted, thanks. They're back on the Valley and working, so I'm just letting things lie for the moment. I wonder if we might instead have a 'locos of 20189 Ltd' page to cover all three?--Patrick Hearn (talk) 10:46, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
20189 was rostered for today with 1501 (and is still shown as such on the SVRSevern Valley Railway website as I type) but when I turned up for a ride it was 20142 instead. A personal 'cop' for me either way so not worried. 20189 was in the MPDMotive Power Depot. Given they don't seem 100% sure themselves what's running where and when, I'll go along with letting it lie for a few more days and see what develops.--Robin (talk) 21:39, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
