50007 (and D1015, regarding your other comment) are both regularly included on the "Diesel Loco Fleet Status" summaries on SVRSevern Valley Railway Online, but I don't know whether these summaries would indicate if they were visitors. The summaries do include non-home-fleet locos, such as the pair of visiting Class 20s, but those two are specifically indicated as visiting mainline locos and that they are not to be used without authorisation. Such comments are lacking for 50007 and D1015, and they are regarded as available for SVRSevern Valley Railway traffic use, but I imagine that status has applied to most long-term diesel visitors (e.g. the Deltics over the last couple of summers).

In summary, I think I've concluded very little, except that some locos are visiting, but some are more "visiting" than others! --Danny252 (talk) 21:31, 2 May 2017 (UTC)

As you may have seen on Facebook, Jonathan Dunster has confirmed that 50007 is not currently under an operating agreement with the SVRSevern Valley Railway, unlike other "resident" locos. Another slightly ambiguous comment stated that Kidderminster is "home" for D1015. --Danny252 (talk) 09:28, 3 May 2017 (UTC)

Robin has changed 1Co-Co1 to 1 Co-Co 1. The UIC classification and Diesel Locomotives visiting the SVR for galas from which I copied the Class 40 entry both have 1Co-Co1. For consistency, what are we using please? Thanks--Patrick Hearn (talk) 14:41, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
