This page lists the Great Train Robbery vehicles. LMS 30272 is described by the carriage survey as the "Last surviving 'Great Train Robbery' coach". 80300 isn't one of those vehicles: like the Royal train vehicle is this just a misdescription in The Engine House?--Patrick Hearn (talk) 12:14, 2 June 2020 (UTC)

The large information board that starts "This coach is one of the most infamous in the SVRSevern Valley Railway collection" does make that claim. However there are several smaller A4 size information pages on the inside wall of the coach, some about TPOs in general and one in particular giving a history of 80300. None of those refer to the Great Train Robbery. The forum link suggests the whole set was ex-LMSLondon Midland & Scottish Railway stock rather than BRBritish Rail or British Railways Mk 1 and I see no reason to disbelieve the information given, so I suspect the board is a misdescription as you say. Glad to see we haven't repeated the claim in the Wiki article.--Robin (talk) 21:04, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
Thanks. I've removed the 1963 item from August 8 which referenced this.
