A list of steam and diesel locomotives visiting the SVRSevern Valley Railway for contract overhauls. This does not include locomotives such as LNWR 3020 Cornwall, GWR 3717 City of Truro and LMS Stanier Class 5 45000 which then remained for a period and are therefore classed as former residents.

50026 Indomitable English Electric 50 Co-Co Paul Spracklen 2018 Arrived in January for commercial repairs in the TMDTraction Maintenance Depot, also referred to as Diesel Depot. It was advertised for the Class 50 Golden Jubilee in October but issues with the power unit meant it was only on static display.
50008 Thunderer English Electric 50 Co-Co 2021 Arrived on 1 August 2021 for commercial bogie repairs in the TMDTraction Maintenance Depot, also referred to as Diesel Depot. It had been advertised for the Branch Line Society's 'Thanet Thunderer' railtour on 31 July 2021 but failed a fitness to run examination. 50007 Hercules and 50049 Defiance deputised, then collected 50008 from Leicester L.I.P.Locomotive Inspection Point It left the SVRSevern Valley Railway in the November

Note: TMDTraction Maintenance Depot, also referred to as Diesel Depot facilities have also been provided to the owners of 20189, 20205, 37688, 47828, D9002 and 55019. Modern locomotives also made use of the facility: Class 57s operated by Direct Rail Services were regular visitors for servicing and examinations when the Northern Belle charter train was based at Kidderminster; Direct Rail Services Class 68 and 88 have also visited[1].
