The Severn Way is a waymarked long distance footpath along the entire 220 miles of the River Severn from the source to the sea. Starting in Mid-Wales, the route takes in Shrewsbury and Ironbridge before heading south through Bridgnorth, Bewdley, Stourport and thence Worcester and Gloucester to Bristol. As such, it includes the riverbank walk that runs parallel to the current SVRSevern Valley Railway between Bridgnorth and Bewdley.

There are a number of walkers' websites and commercial guides for the route.
