The SVRSevern Valley Railway archives were set up in 2009 and are held in an upstairs room at The Engine House.

The archive room holds a vast collection of information dating back to the earliest days of the SVRSevern Valley Railway’s preservation. It includes every copy of SVRSevern Valley Railway News, every timetable and promotional booklet, plus many old SVRSevern Valley Railway posters and timetables and a large collection of press cuttings from 1965 onwards.[1]

The SVRSevern Valley Railway Archive has an informal agreement with Kidderminster Railway Museum that any documents donated to either organisation relating to the SVRSevern Valley Railway in the preservation era will go to Highley, while any relating to the railway pre-preservation, go to Kidderminster.
