- 1981 5690 Leander, which had just undergone a contract boiler repair and overhaul, was rededicated by Commander Drake of HMS Leander in a ceremony at Bridgnorth.[1]
- 1998 In her centenary year, HE 686 began two days of Kidderminster to Bewdley shuttle services, her only appearance on the SVRSevern Valley Railway in Manchester Ship Canal black livery.[2]
