  • 1970 The official opening of the Severn Valley Railway in preservation.[1]
  • 1972 8F 8233 worked the heaviest train to date in SVRSevern Valley Railway preservation - a 600 ton ballast train from Bewdley to Eardington.[2]
  • 1990 As part of the SVRSevern Valley Railway's 25th anniversary celebrations, the first train for some years stopped at Eardington Station.[3]
  • 1997 ESW 37427 returned D821 to Kidderminster from the West Somerset Railway.[4]
  • 2000 A special dining train, hauled by visiting 3205, ran to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the SVRSevern Valley Railway.[5]
