This is the shortest tunnel on the SVR, and is numbered as Bridge 32. It is located between [[Bridgnorth]] and [[Hampton Loade]], just north of milepost 149, between [[Bridgnorth signal box|Bridgnorth]] Down Distant and Down Outer Home signals.  In common with other portions of the original Severn Valley Line it was built to accommodate a double track at a later date, so has much more clearance than other tunnels. Insufficient traffic materialised to justify the widening to a double track.
