Knights of God

Knights of God was a 1987 children's TV serial of 13 episodes, produced for ITV by TVS. Stars included Gareth Thomas (Blake’s 7) and Patrick Troughton (Doctor Who).

Although set in the year 2020, the series included an appearance from LMS Ivatt Class 4 43106. A lengthy scene involving a meeting between the principal characters was filmed on Victoria Bridge. 43106 was filmed approaching the bridge before the meeting and is also seen standing on the bridge in several ‘long shots’ from the river bank. The scene begins near the end of episode 8 and continues at the start of episode 9. Both episodes are available to view on YouTube.
