- 1873 The GWRGreat Western Railway's proposal to build a new line from Stourbridge to Bewdley via Kinver, Cookley and Wolverley was rejected by Parliament.[1]
- 1910 Work began on relining Bewdley Tunnel.[2]
- 1976 Excavations to create the two pit roads in Bridgnorth Loco Works began[3].
