- 1986 Former resident 3717 City of Truro left the SVR.[1]
- 1986 The new station building at Kidderminster was officially opened during a visit by Michael Spicer MP, Under Secretary of State for Transport.[2]
- 2008 Highley Water Column was re-erected after receiving attention at Bridgnorth[3].
- 2020 The King and Castle, The Railwayman's Arms and Kidderminster shop all reopened, the first SVR outlets to do so since the onset of 2020 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic restrictions in March.
