1984: 4930 Hagley Hall with the opening day train

• 1855 The second Severn Valley Railway Act received Royal Assent, authorising cost-saving changes to the route at Mount Pleasant, Apley Park and Shrewsbury.
• 1941 Railcar 22 and sister number 23 were noted in the Kidderminster area, believed to be on test runs for the introduction of railcar services on the Severn Valley and Tenbury Branches which began that year.
• 1984 The SVR opened between Bewdley and Kidderminster.
