  • 1967 A first meeting was held with Bridgnorth Rural Borough Council to discuss the future of the Hollybush Road footbridge.[1]
  • 1978 Railcar 22 left the SVR to return to Didcot. The diesel railcar had arrived on loan in 1967.[2]
  • 1984 Maj. Olver inspected the SVR ahead of the opening of the Kidderminster extension.[3]
  • 1986 Bridgnorth District Council served notice on the SVR to cease boiler rivetting at Bridgnorth.[4]
  • 2008 LMR 600 Gordon was formally handed over from the Army Museum to the SVR in a ceremony at The Engine House[5].
