- 1969 Future SVR resident 45110 left Lostock Hall, beginning a journey 'hauled dead' by rail to Ashford.[1]
- 1994 After being sidelined the previous August with a loose tyre, 42968 was towed from Bewdley to Bridgnorth to begin a bottom end overhaul and replacement of all the locomotive and tender tyres.[2]
