Bridgnorth Station Footbridge

  • 1972 A large working party began de-scaling Bridgnorth Station Footbridge ready for repainting.
  • 1973 The remaining portion of the ex-Llangollen water tank was unloaded at Highley. The first part had arrived in December of the previous year.
  • 1973 The SVRSevern Valley Railway took over possession of the NRMThe Railway Museum, formerly the National Railway Museum's GWRGreat Western Railway Buffet Car 9631 at Clapham Museum. It was resident on the SVR on loan between 1973 and 1992.
