- 1859 William Bennet, a labourer working near Sandbourne Viaduct, was severely injured by a fall of earth.[1]
- 1972 The SVR signed an unconditional contract with BR to buy the southern section of the line between Alveley Sidings and Foley Park for £74,000. A section of the Stourport Branch from Bewdley through Mount Pleasant Tunnel was also included.[2]
- 1972 GWR 89 Riding/Dormitory Van from Worcester and GWR 9103 Nondescript Saloon from Danygraig, Swansea both arrived on the SVR.
