• 1974 The support column for the ex-LNWR water tank at Bewdley was lifted into place.
• 1977 Filming of BBC Sci-Fi drama series Survivors took place at Hampton Loade with 48773 (as LMS 8233).
• 2018 Excerpts from the series God's Wonderful Railway were featured in a film show at Kidderminster Railway Museum presented by author Avril and Rowlands and her husband Chris, who also gave a talk on the work involved in making the series.
