- 1932 The GWRGreat Western Railway Traffic Committee discussed improvements to the track layout and signalling at Bewdley South.[1]
- 1968 The section of track between Berrington and Shrewsbury, which had remained in use for testing Sentinel diesels after closure in 1963, was finally closed by BRBritish Rail or British Railways.
