Hearts of Gold

Hearts of Gold was a 2003 BBC two-part drama first broadcast on 5 and 6 July 2003 and based on the first of eight novels by Catrin Collier, a Welsh novelist. The cast included Jeremy Sheffield, Kate Jarman, Geraldine James and David Troughton. The plot concerns doctor Andrew John joining his father's infirmary, and in miner's daughter Bethan Powell finds a spirit lacking in his previous girlfriends. The two fall in love, but their differing backgrounds prove a major sticking point.[1].

Filming on the SVR took place at Bridgnorth, as Pontypridd.
