The Hampton Loade Station Fund Shop

Hampton Loade Station Fund maintains and enhances the appearance of Hampton Loade Station.

Each station has a budget provided by SVR(H), accordingly stationmasters submit a budget each year and are budget-holders for their station. In addition the Severn Valley Railway Association raised funds to support small-scale local projects that fell outside of the station budgets, which developed into the current arrangement where the Severn Valley Railway Company provide 'assisted project' funding for volunteer-led projects. Later, the Charitable Trust too funded station projects across the Railway. However, from the earliest days stations formed a fund to raise ring-fenced funds independently from the Railway to meet the requirements of an active volunteer workforce in maintaining and enhancing the station.[1]

Hampton Loade Station Fund have a fund raising shop in their GWR Fruit D Van 3467 which is situated in the siding, along with GWR Fruit C 2815 which is used as a store.

The fund also is a minor shareholder of Severn Valley Railway (Holdings) PLC.[2]
