A890 was restored by the Friends of Kidderminster Town Station. These General Goods Containers were designed to be carried by 'ConflatGWR telegraphic code signifying a flat wagon for containers' Wagons such as GWR 39860, on which BRBritish Rail or British Railways Type B Container 49408B is shown in the photograph. GWRGreat Western Railway A890 is a "Type A" approximately half the size of a "Type B", meaning two could be carried on one wagon.
