GWRGreat Western Railway 6Tons 16cwt Hand Crane 446

This GWRGreat Western Railway hand crane was built at Swindon in 1896, and was also numbered 060982. It arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway in December 1982 from Bristol, having been acquired by The GWR 813 Preservation Fund.

It is photographed in March 2015 situated in the ‘Stourport Triangle’, the junction of the Stourport Branch and the present day SVRSevern Valley Railway south of Bewdley. It is paired with Crane Runner 707261.
