Goods Wagons

The grounded body of this GWRGreat Western Railway 'MinkGWR telegraphic code signifying a covered goods van A' ventilated covered goods van can be seen in the yard at Bewdley station. It was built in 1934 at Swindon to Diagram V24 Lot 1140.[1]

The MinkGWR telegraphic code signifying a covered goods van A was a ubiquitous design, with six other wheeled examples on the SVRSevern Valley Railway alone and more than 30 elsewhere. 125059 is one of several hundred examples of grounded bodies that feature in the Railway Heritage Register Wagon Survey[2].
