I've described these as stones as they look similar to foundation stones. I suspect they may actually be plaques though. Something to verify and possibly edit when I get the opportunity. --Graham Phillips 110 (talk) 08:03, 30 May 2020 (UTC)

There is a picture in SVRSevern Valley Railway News 81 of Michael Spicer with Bill Broadbent at the unveiling ceremony, but no description to clarify one way or the other. Logically the one which states the date of the opening ceremony and the person doing it would have been added to the wall shortly before the ceremony rather than when the wall itself was first built the year before, so wouldn't qualify as a foundation stone. 'Commemorative stone' or 'plaque'? I would personally err towards 'plaque' but not a big issue either way.--Robin (talk) 16:55, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
