- 1984 The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady was first broadcast by Central Independent Television. It was partly filmed on the SVRSevern Valley Railway using 686 The Lady Armaghdale hauling Longmoor Saloons 7803, 7813 and 45021 at Arley and between there and Highley in late 1983.[1]
- 1966 BRBritish Rail or British Railways District Engineer Mr RV Hughes inspected the line between Bewdley and Bridgnorth, travelling in the Engineers Saloon hauled by BRBritish Rail or British Railways Standard 4 No. 76039 from Oxley Shed.
- 2013 BR Class 09 D4100 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway, having been purchased from former owner Harry Needle.
