  • 1859 The keystones of the main arch of Wribbenhall Viaduct were laid.
  • 1904 The Bridgnorth Jourrnal reported that a steam bus had run away backwards on Roughton Bank, resulting in injury to a passenger. Introduced by the GWRGreat Western Railway in November of that year, the buses were replaced by petrol-engined buses the following spring.[1]
  • 2017 West Midlands Trains took over as the principal train operating company 'over the fence' at Kidderminster.
  • 2018 An episode of the BBC's 'River Walks' was first broadcast, with Shobna Gulati travelling from Bridgnorth on the footplate of 43106[2].
