Dancing on the Edge was a 6-part BBC television drama series written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff and broadcast in 2013.  Filming involving 42968 and a rake of LNER Teaks took place in a night shoot at Bewdley in February 2012. Coach GNR 2701 was used for filming scenes set within a railway carriage compartment and GWR sleeper 9084 used for sleeping car scenes.

Dancing on the Edge was a 6-part BBC television drama series written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff broadcast in 2013 and featuring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Matthew Goode and Joanna Vanderham.[1] It follows an ambitious, young working-class journalist on the Musical Express, who discovers and promotes a black jazz band of mostly American musicians. The band soon attracts fans and aristocrats.[2]
