Case Poclain and Rexquote Road Railers

The SVRSevern Valley Railway has two of these similar road railer excavators. Like the Liebherr 902ZW Road Rail 360, these road railers can be used with various buckets for excavating and moving spoil, or with a flail head for clearing trackside vegetation.

Case Poclain 688

The first to be acquired was Case-Poclain 688-BP Excavator No 489 (DVLA Registration L696MRM).[1]

Rexquote Super Railer

The second, fleet number 4199, was acquired in 2017,[2] and is a Rexquote Super Railer, based on the Case 988 Super Railer[3]. It does not carry a DVLA registration number, but is allocated the EVN/RIV number 99709 940193-4[4].
