==Preservation==
346 arrived on the SVR from Moreton in the early 1970son 17 November 1970, and was for a time painted in a fictitious SVR S&T Department livery numbered 8718. It was repainted into Cadbury's livery in 1982 and renumbered 346.<ref name=SB9/>
In 1985, 346 appeared on the main line when it was used in the [[The Severn Valley Railway on the main line#SVR Wagons used on the main line in preservation| GW 150 demonstration freight train]] which ran to Newport behind [[2857|GWR freight loco 2857]].<ref>SVR News 78</ref>
