Ex British Sugar Open Wagon numbered ‘Highley Mining Co 136’

This 8-plank 13 ton capacity Tippler Wagon was one of 14 donated to the SVR in July 1969 by the British Sugar Corporation at Foley Park, although by 1990 all but 4 had been cut up as beyond economical repair. The wagon is seen in the photograph adjacent to Kidderminster Railway Museum, in the fictitious livery of Highley Mining Co No 136.
