9513 in preservation

9513 was moved to the Epping Ongar Railway in 2010 and by 2013 to the Battlefield Line. By September 2016 it moved to the Mid Norfolk Railway.[2]

By April 2017 it was owned by Eastern Rail Services (ERS) and moved to Washwood Heath. It is one of several Mark 2 vehicles operated by ERS whose main rakes were based at the Mid-Norfolk Railway. With other ERS vehicles, in May 2017 they hired 9513 to the SVR for the Spring Diesel Festival, its air-braking capability being used by visiting mainline locomotives. 9513 remained painted in BR Blue Pullman livery.
