BRBritish Rail or British Railways Mark 2f Brake Second Open (BSO) 9513 was built at Derby in 1974 to diagram number 189 of lot number 30861. It has 32 seats.[1]

It formed part of Riviera Train's Blue Pullman Mk 2 set based at East Ham from 2006, being painted in Nanking Blue and white livery. It was leased and in 2007 purchased from HSBC by FM Rail.

9513 in preservation

9513 was moved to the Epping Ongar Railway in 2010 and by 2013 to the Battlefield Line. By September 2016 it moved to the Mid Norfolk Railway.[2]

By April 2017 it was owned by Eastern Rail Services (ERS) and moved to Washwood Heath. It is one of several Mark 2 vehicles operated by ERS whose main rakes were based at the Mid-Norfolk Railway. With other ERS vehicles, in May 2017 they hired 9513 to the SVRSevern Valley Railway for the Spring Diesel Festival, its air-braking capability being used by visiting mainline locomotives. 9513 remained painted in BRBritish Rail or British Railways Blue Pullman livery.
