Post Office Sorting Van (POS) 80328 was built at York in 1968 to Diagram 728, Lot 30779. It was allocated to the London Midland region from entry into service in November 1669 1969 until withdrawal in 1999.<ref>[[Bibliography#Other References|Longworth (2013)]] p.184.</ref>
It was one of two acquired in spring 2000 from BR's Old Oak Common, London. Both were acquired for use on Santa duties at Arley, taking the place of a 'Snake' and 'Siphon' which required a major overhaul.<ref>SVR News 132</ref>
80328 is in Post Office Maroon livery, and is normally stored at Kidderminster. It was used as [[Santa's Grotto]] at [[Arley]] during December until 2018 when , with alternative [[Christmas services]] arrangements were brought infrom 2019. It is owned by [[Severn Valley Railway (Holdings) PLC | SVR(H)]].
