BRBritish Rail or British Railways Brake Corridor Second 34754

BRBritish Rail or British Railways Mark 1 Brake Corridor Second (BSK) 34754 was built at Wolverton in 1955 to diagram number 182 of lot number 30157.

34754 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway in November 1997 from Peterborough. It has been converted for use as the Civil Engineers Mess and Tool Van, with the body of this coach put on the bogies of coach 34414 (the body of 34414 was scrapped). It currently (March 2015) carries the DepartmentalRolling stock used for the railway’s own functions (engineering etc.) rather than for general passenger or goods traffic. number ADB975128, and is owned by the SVRSevern Valley Railway P.WayPermanent Way Fund.
