- 1873 Daniel Gooch, addressing a half-yearly meeting of GWRGreat Western Railway shareholders, described the Bewdley loop as a 'useless curve' which they did not want and were now compelled to build.[1]
- 1939 The Regent Oil Company depot opened near Hartlebury, served by Leapgate Siding.[2]
- 1964 The second of two fatal accidents during the BR era occurred at the level crossing in Northwood Lane.[3]
- 1968 LMSLondon Midland & Scottish Railway carriages 27218, 27220, 27270, 24617 and 26921 were rescued intact from Didcot Yard, arriving with GWR 2119 Full Third.
