- 1915 The GWR carried out structural repairs to Bridge 12, the Accommodation bridge off Northwood Lane, which included a small stone plaque beairng this date.
- 1981 GWR third class restaurant coaches 9653 and 9654 arrived on loan from the National Railway Museum. Both are still resident; the latter having since been gifted to the SVR.
