  • 1962 In the final year of BRBritish Rail or British Railways services, ex-GWRGreat Western Railway 'Large PrairieLocomotive with a 2-6-2 wheel configuration' 4129 was photographed at Arley with the 12.10pm Bridgnorth to Hartlebury service.[1]
  • 1982 7812 Erlestoke Manor and 4930 Hagley Hall took the Welsh Marches Pullman between Shrewsbury and Hereford.[2][3]
  • 1992 LNER 60009 Union of South Africa departed after undergoing maintenance over the winter as a guest of the SVRSevern Valley Railway[4].
  • 2010 DEMU 1001 operated Hastings Diesels Limited’s 'Severn Explorer' railtour from Hastings to Bridgnorth[5].
