- 1905 Petrol-engined buses replaced the short-lived steam buses on the GWR's Wolverhampton to Bridgnorth service.[1]
- 1949 Eardington station became unstaffed.[2]
- 1951 Stourport South signal box was taken out of use by BR.
- 1968 A public enquiry was held into the future of the Hollybush Road footbridge.[3]
- 1974 Bridgnorth was demoted to rural borough status, losing its powers to spend money maintaining Hollybush Road footbridge. The bridge was demolished in 1976 and not replaced until 1994.[4]
- 1985 Steam Railway magazine published the notorious City of Truro "April fool" article.[5]
- 1990 Bewdley South Up & Down distant signals were commissioned.[6]
- 1995 The first Members Day was held.
