AEC bus model
In 1998 the SVR commissioned Exclusive First Editions (EFE), a UK-based die-cast model manufacturer, to produce a limited boxed edition of 500 models supplied with numbered certificates. They were only available from the SVR.
These featured a 4mm (1/76th) scale post war double decker AEC Regal RT bus, bearing '"Severn Valley Railway - Britain's Premier Steam Line' side adverts. The buses carried green livery with yellow between decks band and black mudguards. The registration was 'SVR 500', the route no. 'SVR' and destination blinds showed 'Railway Special Kidderminster' (Bewdley on rear). They carried the round Severn Valley Railway Company Limited crest.
It was one of a series of EFE limited edition RT buses produced between 1990 and 2015 in green or red, with a variety of advertisements. From time-to-time models appear on ebay or other dealer sites.
