BR 80776 Brake Gangwayed

80776 arrived on the SVR in November 1986 from Bristol. It was heavily rebuilt with components from Open Seconds and Corridor Seconds to achieve a conversion to a passenger carrying vehicle for wheelchair users. Seating is provided for 15 accompanying passengers, and a disabled access WC is included. 80776 won the Association of Railway Preservation Societies, “Coach of the Year” award upon completion in 1995.
80776 is normally used in the BR Crimson & Cream running set, and is until 2016 was owned by the [[SVR Wolverhampton Branch]]. However in that year it was sold to the [[Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust Ltd| SVR Charitable Trust]] for safekeeping and further conversion to a "Wheelchair Diner" providing much needed access to the SVR's Dining Services.
