They were first used around the Kidderminster / Bewdley / Hartlebury triangle from 1936as an 'Open Second', entering service on and later re-named as 'Tourist Standard Open' when BR rebranded Second class as Standard class during the rest 1980s. It was one of the Severn Valley and Tenbury Branches six TSOs acquired during 1982-83 in 1941 where they continued in use until anticipation of the 1960s. Railcar 22 is owned extra traffic which would be generated by the Great Western Society at Didcot but was resident on loan at the SVR in the 1960s and 1970sKidderminster extension.
