Referring to the Bewdley South signal box diagram, this photo shows;
On the left, for trains approaching from the former Stourport line:

  • Top, Bewdley South signal 5 Stourport to DownIn reference to the direction of travel means away from the major terminus (i.e. towards Bridgnorth on the present day SVR) Main Inner Home
  • Middle, Bewdley North DownIn reference to the direction of travel means away from the major terminus (i.e. towards Bridgnorth on the present day SVR) Main Fixed Distant
  • Bottom, Bewdley South signal 20 Stourport to DownIn reference to the direction of travel means away from the major terminus (i.e. towards Bridgnorth on the present day SVR) Yard

On the right, for trains approaching on the main line from Kidderminster, or on the crossover from the Stourport line:

  • Left, Bewdley South signal 9 Kidderminster to DownIn reference to the direction of travel means away from the major terminus (i.e. towards Bridgnorth on the present day SVR) Yard
  • Middle top, Bewdley South signal 6 Kidderminster to DownIn reference to the direction of travel means away from the major terminus (i.e. towards Bridgnorth on the present day SVR) Main Inner Home
  • Middle bottom, Bewdley North DownIn reference to the direction of travel means away from the major terminus (i.e. towards Bridgnorth on the present day SVR) Main Distant

In the distance can be seen the two Back Road Homes, 28 DownIn reference to the direction of travel means away from the major terminus (i.e. towards Bridgnorth on the present day SVR) Back Road to Stourport Home & 31 DownIn reference to the direction of travel means away from the major terminus (i.e. towards Bridgnorth on the present day SVR) Back Road to Kidderminster Home. The latter is still set to clear as the photo was taken from the rear of a train which has just left the Back Road for Kidderminster.
